Nathan C. Davis, MD, graduated with high honors from Michigan State University in East Lansing with a bachelor’s degree in physiology and earned his medical degree from the Ohio State University College of Medicine in Columbus. He then completed his neurological surgery residency at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, serving as chief resident, and completed a neurocritical care fellowship at UNC.
Dr. Davis is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, the Congress of Neurological Surgeons and the Neurocritical Care Society. His clinical and professional interests include general neurosurgery, biomedical engineering, neurocritical care and medical education. He most recently oversaw all aspects of clinical care for inpatient and outpatient neurosurgery services at UNC.
Specializing in diseases of the brain and nervous system, Dr. Davis joins the board-certified physicians and highly skilled staff at Lexington Brain and Spine Institute to provide comprehensive care in the treatment of disorders affecting the brain, spine and peripheral nerves, including surgery for degenerative conditions, trauma and cancer.
